Senator Moye vows to resign If...

Bong County Senator Prince Moye  has vowed to resign his post if audit is conducted and found  him culpable and challenged  Representative Marvin Cole.

In the wake of Bong County District #3 Representative Marvin Cole's resignation from the County's Legislative Caucus, Senator Moye has described the resignation of Representative Cole as scare tactics intended to escape the audit process of the Bong Technical College and other institutions in the county.

It can be recalled that recently, Senator Moye was accused by Representative Cole for instigating confusion and stalling the developments of Bong County, as such, he could not serve under his watch as Chair of the County's Legislative Caucus.

But reacting to Representative Cole’s allegations, Senator Moye, who is the current Chair of the Bong County Legislative Caucus, said Representatives  Cole’s resignation from the caucus has given members of that body many reasons to speed up the audit process, which the caucus is determined to implement.

The Bong County Senator has also challenged Representative Cole to resign as Lawmaker because resigning from the caucus also calls for the resignation for being the District #3 Lawmaker.

" Marvin Cole hands are found in  several corrupt acts of corruption and brutalization in the county so he is afraid of the caucus decision to restore sanity to the county".

At the same time, Senator Moye has termed as sweeping allegation levied against him by Representative Cole as being the mastermind of confusion and stalling developments in the county.

" My hands are not found in corruption like Representative Cole who can't account for the $900,000 United States Dollars that was allotted to the Bong Technical College in recent Budget years.  I began Deputy Speaker among my colleagues in the lower House  due to the level of trust and character I have, not by getting involved into corrupt activities like Marvin Cole."

" I challenge Representative Cole, he has no moral ground to rein my high earn reputation,"  he asserted.

The Bong County Caucus Chair, who boasted of a unity caucus under his leadership, said calm has been restored at the Bong Technical College following an immediate intervention by members of the Caucus.

According to him, the intervention of the caucus was triggered by a complaint received from students of the college; as such, members of the caucus inclusive of Senator Jonny Kpehe and Representative Foday Fahnbulleh immediately resolved the matter by assuring the students of an audit.

He alleged that Senator Moye was what he calls “One Man Board Chair when the institution received Nine Hundred Thousand from recent budget that is yet to be accounted for by Representative Cole and his colleagues.

In a related development, Senator Moye has refuted reporters for influencing President Joseph Nyuma Boakai as it relates to the change of names of appointed officials.

Senator Moye refuting the allegation noted that he has jurisdiction over the Executive especially President Boakai who he described as a technical and experienced leader.

The Bong County Senator pointed out that at no time did he change or influence the change of names of appointed officials as being speculated.

Senator Moye has therefore called on those spreading falsehood to desist, noting that he is more focused on his Legislative politics rather than issues that border on the Executive.
